Operational Audit Group
Rainmaker Software's Operational Audit Groups provide
an on-going opportunity for owners to improve their business skills in the
areas of sales, financial management, marketing and day-to-day operating
procedures.
Six non-competing retailers commit to meet with each
other over a two-year period for the purpose of generating ideas and
exchanging information that have made their retail operations successful.
Meetings are arranged so that all members will be able to attend and avoid
other scheduling conflicts.
Each retailer is known by Rainmaker Software through
past involvement with profit management seminars or groups. Each member is a
successful operator and has demonstrated high performance in the past. Each
member also has taken their company through the down side of a market and
survived.
The objective of this group is to help the host owner
"rip off the blinder" and get a perspective about their business and how
they are doing. Our employees tell us what they think we want to hear; other
Owners, in this setting, will tell us what we need to hear -- no holds
barred.
Each member agrees to keep all discussions, notes and
materials confidential and agrees to not exchange such information with any
other outside sources. this is essential because of the nature of the
discussions. A high trust level develops between members.
Meetings are held at each members company on a "round
- robin" basis. Each member agrees to attend each meeting on a "dutch"
basis. The host must provide satisfactory meeting room accommodations but
does not have any responsibility for any other expenses of the visiting
retailers or Rainmaker Software staff. Meetings are led by Bill Carr.
Appropriate training manuals will be provided.
